There were about 25 of us with the September 3rd 2022 Rally for Decency in Port Townsend Washington to PROTEST what the City of Port Townsend did to us. 3 of us Women, and one Man had been assaulted at the August 15th Press Conference. We were a Diverse Group, interracial, LGB, Jewish, Pagan, Christian, Gay, Straight, Liberal, Conservative and a broad range of ages groups. We were painted out to be the biggest baddest thing to ever happen in Port Townsend, and Fear was incited by the local government and prominent people that we were Public Enemy Number One.
What Happened to those women, to us, to me happened in that very spot. We have every right to Protest What Happened. I was the only local with the main group, however, there were a few other locals who came over and hung out with us.
Oh the irony right, 25 of us, and the City had 400 Rabid Hounds at us at the press conference and well that is LOVE, Support and Beautiful. 25 VERY Diverse Group of men and women standing up to the Demons of the City Council of Port Townsend and We are treated as Public Enemy Number One.
So scary we were, that the Coast Guard, Helicopter Police, State Patrol, City Police, Jefferson County Deputies and Clallam County Deputies were on the scene. Oh wait, were they there for Little Ol Us or the non-existent suburban myth Antifa? Hmmm either way, this is Cool and ya gotta love it, this was a small part of the Officers on Duty as they left, I Love This.
