Imagine if the Port Townsend City Budget of approx 14 million went to Port Townsend City, improve parks, docks and all the fun stuff, needed and wanted projects and NO government agency needed to do it.

 Simply put the allotted money in an account and delegate it out online, by  one or two people paid or not paid and the money paid directly to the contractors to do real work, to those who know that specific project or job. NO Paid Gov. Employee in the middle stalling the project, creating more hoops, simply use the money to do things that really do benefit the public and not the Government. 

Build a bathroom or changing room for the scuba divers. Build public showers.  Fix and build things that matter. Get people into housing. Build fun stuff for boating and other water fun, things needed and wanted and not on average looks like per the City of Port Townsend Links above, 150k per top Prominent People Employee. Why? 

We DO NOT need government, we need the things that are actually done and bought, built directly for the city without the wasteful wages. And WOW huge wages for them, though THEY ARE ALL NON-ESSENTIAL, while the real essential people: The Grocery Clerk, The Garbage Man, The Restaurant owners, the delivery people, well they get barely minimum wage and NO HAZARD PAY. 

As these politicians get 150k and above and now are most on furlough right? Still getting big bucks while you essential workers work your butts off and not even hazard pay and your small business gets ruined by them. THERE IS NO NEED FOR CITY OR COUNTY GOVERNMENT IN MY PERSONAL OPINION.
